THIS IS: BRYCE NOE

New addition in our PutainSkateboards team: Bryce ! This man is a true ripper, he just won the WorldRoundUp in Ams category. He is really technical with big hammer tricks, cool flow and just a super cool guy ! He has "that stuff" that made us think "WE NEED THIS GUY!"

Here is the classic "welcome interview", as usual! Enjoy!

Name and age?
My name's Bryce, and I'm 27.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
Look at freestyle clips on Instagram, then get coffee.
How did you start freestyle skateboard?
In 2006 or 2007, I stumbled across Rodney Mullen’s part in Globe's Opinion and was enraptured and inspired me to start freestyling, but I don't think I attempted any freestyle tricks until 2008.
How long have you been riding for?
I've been skating since 2005 when my brother gave me his board. It was a Toy Machine board and I regret not keeping it.
How can you describe your style?
My skating is technical. I would also say my trick selection is diverse with different rolling tricks and stationary combos.
Who are your biggest inspirations?
Tony Gale, Lynn Cooper, Brandon Ross, Denham Hill, to name a few.
Favourite trick?
Butterfingers (or broken fingers from toeside rail) is such a fun one. Shout out Nick Beaulieu for inventing that one.
Favourite skater?
Marco Sassi and Hans Smit are my favorite to watch.
Favourite song?
Anything The Wombats have released is a banger.
Favourite food?
Gyros are so good!
Best moment on a skateboard?
Lately, I've been working on crossfoot hang ten G-turns, and that is one of the most difficult and satisfying tricks I've ever attempted. I can practice those for hours. I hope to end the trick with a Bert slide one day, like Robert Wagner.
Good habit to keep?
Time management, probably.
Bad habit to ban?
At contests, I often practice too much and forget to stretch before my runs, which leaves me in immense pain.
A last word?
Many thanks to the freestyle community for making these past few years so memorable and rewarding.
WELCOME TO THE TEAM BRYCE !!!!
