This is the founder of PutainSkateboards, Stéphane. Back then, he had a childhood dream with his friends, create something for action sports. He did lots of different sports, BMX flatland, scootering, skateboarding, but few years ago, he started freestyle and an absolute love was born. Here is a short interview:

- Name and age?
- My name is Stephane and I'm 27 years old.
- Where are you from?
- I'm from Périgueux in south west of France.
- How did PutainSkateboards was born?
- Freestyle skateboards is growing a lot everywhere but not that much in France. I wanted to show people here that Freestyle is back and I wanna share my passion with everyone so I was thinking, what can I do to make freestyle bigger here? And then, I decided to create the 1st ONLY FREESTYLE skate company from France. French freestyle was big back then in the 80's with legend such as Pierre André and Jean-Marc Vaissette, let's write the history of french modern freestyle now !

- Why "PutainSkateboards"?
- Putain ! Is a word that we say for any reason: You're happy, "Putain c'est cool" (That's great!). You're angry, "Putain, t'es lourd !" (You're pissing me off). You get hurt, "PUTAIN ÇA FAIT MAL !!!" (IT HUUUUUURTS). Ask anyone around the globe what can they say in french and I'm pretty sure "Putain!" will be said.

- I went to Slatina last summer and seeing all these kids freestyling was something I'll never forget. Thanks again Marius for the good memories !

- Sharing all I can with other freestylers.
- How do you see your future?
- Well, I'd love to make Putain as big as I can, I'd also love to create my own contest here in my beautiful hometown and bring all my freestyle friends here.
